Apprenticeships

Whether in production, in the warehouse, in the laboratory, in the office or in the workshop - at Sandler, your development is important to us. We offer you a variety of apprenticeships in which you can grow both professionally and personally. During the first year of your apprenticeship, you will receive a training allowance of €1,190. Industrial clerks (m/f/d)

As an industrial clerk, you will gain a wide range of insights into the commercial areas of the company. You will work in our departments such as Purchasing, Human Resources, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Logistics and Waste Disposal in 4-month rotations. You will get to know different processes and take on tasks independently. The entry requirement for the 3-year apprenticeship (can be shortened) is a secondary school leaving certificate. The vocational school is in Münchberg (weekly).

Euro industrial clerks (m/f/d)

As a Euro-industrial clerk, you will be active both in the commercial areas of the company and in foreign language training. In addition to English, you can choose other foreign languages such as Spanish or French. The highlight for the Spanish class is the 3-week stay abroad. The apprenticeship, which requires a general higher education entrance qualification or entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences, takes 2.5 years. In addition to the qualification as an industrial clerk (m/f/d), you will also have the certified vocational specialist (m/f/d) for foreign language communication in your pocket at the end of the course. During your time in the company, you will gain insights into various departments and take on independent tasks. The block lessons take place in Bayreuth.

IT specialist in system integration (m/f/d)

As an IT specialist in system integration (m/f/d), you will plan, build and maintain computer and network systems. You will carry out systematic error analyses and support our colleagues in troubleshooting. The apprenticeship takes 3 years, requires at least an intermediate school leaving certificate and includes block lessons in Bayreuth.

IT specialist in application development (m/f/d)

In the field of application development, you will use programming languages, design and implement software applications and analyze data sources. The 3-year apprenticeship with at least an intermediate school-leaving certificate takes place in block lessons in Bayreuth.

Textile laboratory technician (m/f/d)

As a textile laboratory technician (m/f/d), you will carry out incoming goods inspections, check the properties of our nonwovens and draw up test reports and certificates. You will also be involved in the development of new products. The apprenticeship takes 3.5 years (can be shortened) and requires at least an intermediate school leaving certificate. The vocational school is in Münchberg (block lessons).

Machine and plant operator (m/f/d)

During your training as a machine and plant operator (m/f/d), you will apply nonwovens-specific production techniques, monitor processes and carry out quality controls. The apprenticeship takes 2 years and requires a secondary school leaving certificate. The vocational school is located in Münchberg (block lessons).

Textile production mechanic (m/f/d)

As a textile production mechanic (m/f/d), you will set up our production systems and monitor the processes. Minor maintenance and troubleshooting are also part of your job. The apprenticeship takes 3 years and requires a qualified secondary school leaving certificate. The vocational school is in Münchberg (block lessons).

Warehouse specialist (m/f/d)

During your training as a warehouse specialist (m/f/d), you will be responsible for receiving our raw and auxiliary materials in the incoming goods department and for checking deliveries for completeness. You will store our raw and auxiliary materials as well as our finished products, pick them and load them for dispatch to our customers. The apprenticeship takes 2 years and requires a secondary school leaving certificate. The vocational school is in Hof (weekly).

Warehouse logistics specialists (m/f/d)

Following your training as a warehouse specialist (m/f/d), you can continue your education by completing additional training as a warehouse logistics specialist (m/f/d). This will enable you to deepen your knowledge of warehousing, order picking and loading within one year. The vocational school is also in Hof (weekly).

Industrial mechanic (m/f/d)

During your training as an industrial mechanic (m/f/d), you will inspect, maintain and set up our nonwoven lines. You will carry out maintenance work and manufacture spare parts. Under the guidance of our full-time trainer, you will learn all the basic mechanical skills in our training workshop. Later on, you will work directly with our specialists in maintenance and troubleshooting on our nonwoven lines. The apprenticeship takes 3.5 years and requires a qualified secondary school certificate. The vocational school is in Hof (weekly).

Electronics technician for industrial engineering (m/f/d)

As an electronics technician for industrial engineering (m/f/d), you will install and connect electrical equipment, commission systems and maintain them. Under the guidance of our full-time trainer, you will learn all the basic electronic skills in our training workshop. Later on, you will work directly with our specialists in maintenance and troubleshooting on our nonwoven lines or demonstrate what you have already learned in exciting projects. The apprenticeship takes 3.5 years and requires a qualified secondary school leaving certificate. The vocational school is located in Marktredwitz (block lessons).

Dual study program

Would you like to combine theory and practice and are looking for a suitable partner? Then a dual study program at Sandler Group is just right for you. With us, you can gain valuable practical experience and obtain your academic degree at the same time. During the entire 4.5 years, you will receive a salary of €1,190, regardless of whether you are in the study or practical phase. The close linking between your studies and practical work will give you a deep insight into our company processes and you will be involved in exciting projects. Your practical semester and your thesis can cover topics from the company. There is no contractual obligation at the end of the dual study program, and we will also support you if you wish to pursue a Master's degree afterwards. Dual study program business administration & training as an industrial clerk (m/f/d)

In this dual study program, you combine practical training as an industrial clerk (m/f/d) with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. After 2.5 years you will have completed your training and after 4.5 years you will have a Bachelor's degree.

Dual study program industrial engineering & training as an industrial clerk (m/f/d)

This dual study program combines training as an industrial clerk (m/f/d) with a Bachelor of Engineering in industrial engineering. After 3 years you will have the apprenticeship title and after 4.5 years the Bachelor's degree. In addition to the commercial departments, you will of course get to know our technical departments such as design, product development and process optimization during the practical part of your studies.

Dual study program innovative textiles & training as a textile production mechanic or textile laboratory technician (m/f/d)

Combine training as a textile production mechanic or textile laboratory technician (m/f/d) with a Bachelor of Engineering in Innovative Textiles. In addition to production and the laboratory, you will of course get to know our textile departments such as production management, product development and quality assurance during the practical part of your studies. After 4.5 years, both the 3-year apprenticeship and the degree course will have prepared you comprehensively for the industry.

Dual study program electrical engineering & training as an electronics technician for industrial engineering (m/f/d)

In this dual study program, you will combine training as an electronics technician for industrial engineering (m/f/d) with a Bachelor of Engineering in electrical engineering. During your practical phases, you will work on the commissioning of new nonwovens lines and on planning and digitalization projects. After 3.5 years you will have completed the apprenticeship and after 4.5 years you will have a Bachelor's degree.

Dual study program mechanical engineering & training as an industrial mechanic (m/f/d)

Combine training as an industrial mechanic (m/f/d) with a Bachelor of Engineering in mechanical engineering. Once you have completed your 3.5-year training, you will support our colleagues in design or process optimization during your practical phases. After a total of 4.5 years, you will have a Bachelor's degree in your pocket.
